On Sunday, the Squeeze take on the Chicago Slice, which got through Group A behind Orlando at 2-2 before sweeping the Miami Pickleball Club 3-0 in Saturday's quarterfinals. The Brooklyn Aces took on the D.C. Pickleball team in the first semifinal earlier on Sunday. The Squeeze needed a Dreambreaker finish to beat Chicago in pool play on Friday, winning 21-9 in the four-player singles tiebreaker. Major League Pickleball is a rally-scoring league pitting two mixed doubles teams and men's and women's doubles pairs against each other in single-set matches to 21 points.

The Slice picked up matching 21-18 wins from women's doubles partners Lacy Schneeman and Jessie Irvine and men's players Ben Johns and Erik Lange before Irvine and Johns sealed the quarterfinal victory with a 21-14 win in the first mixed doubles match.
Orlando swept its way to first place at the Atlanta event in September that opened Season 2 of 2023. The Squeeze needed a Dreambreaker to best the D.C. Pickleball Team 3-2 in the championship after both mixed doubles matches went beyond 21 points (victory must be by at least two points).
The Squeeze have Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher as their women's players, with Andrei Daescu and Zane Navratil partnering as the men's doubles team.
